Our team works 30 hour weeks in a results-oriented work environment from cities in Canada, the United States and England. In addition to interacting personally with clients, everyone has the opportunity to apply their talents to personal projects of their choosing.

Emma Woolley – Community Manager

Emma has worked in social media management, web editing and content development for the past four years, and has been writing on a freelance basis for six. She likes solving problems, connecting people and making things in meaningful, progressive ways. In her off-Phuse time she's usually writing/reading, riding her bike, hanging out with her cats or advocating for various causes.

Emma has a borderline unhealthy appreciation for karaoke, cosplay, bad horror movies and all things created by Joss Whedon.

Murray is a user interface designer based in Scotland. Self taught, he has a keen eye for clean, sharp design and is constantly looking for new ways to improve user experience. When he isn’t working Murray can be found in front of the TV watching the latest action film or out with friends.

Murray has an unhealthy addiction to fizzy drinks—sometimes he can consume up to 6 cans a day.

Tom Neal – Designer

Tom is located within the sunny British Isles, and lives in the small market town of Chesterfield. With meticulous attention to detail, Tom designs beautiful, usable interfaces for web and mobile applications. When he ventures away from the computer, Tom haunts the local coffee bars, and he enjoys a good old trip to the cinema.

Tom began his career designing t-shirts. Now he just collects them, and admits to having roughly 100 in his wardrobes!

Naomi Grey – Office Manager

Naomi has been keeping companies organized, managing books and being an all-around problem solver for the last ten years. She loves setting up systems and re-ordering processes. When she’s not wrangling numbers or organizing for The Phuse, she volunteers at her toddler’s daycare and spends quality time with large cups of cappuccino.

Naomi has a cat named Loki that has lived with her for 17 years, in Winnipeg and Toronto.

Jonathan moved from sunny South Africa to the midwest United States when he was twelve years old. It didn't take him long to figure out that he hated snow, so he now resides in the breathtaking state of Oregon. When he's not performing design wizardry, Jonathan likes to hike Oregonian forests, watch a game of rugby or "vanquish his foes" at Monopoly.

James handles creative direction and business operations at The Phuse. He spends most of his time trying to bring our design and coding standards to the next level, and believes there is always room for improvement. When he isn't figuring out how to improve our work environment or make sense of Excel he enjoys playing board games with loved ones.

James is scared of the dark. After having gotten used to his son's night-light in his room (and watching Paranormal Activity 2), he can't sleep properly without some form of light to keep the monsters at bay.
