You're not just another client
So why would you be treated like one?
We believe that every client is different and deserves services tailored to their specific needs. That's why we consistently create outstanding solutions in a collaborative environment. We build long-lasting relationships with clients because we care about their projects, and we think our work is a reflection of that.
That's why we call them projects and not portfolio pieces. We're as picky about who we work with as you should be. So take a look, and if you feel so inclined, get in touch. Maybe you’ll find your project on this page as well!
We're not just another agency
We like to think of ourselves as the Albert Einsteins of coding, the Pablo Picassos of design, and the George Clooneys of love-making. Find out who you'll be working with!
Drool-worthy development
We work with development teams to build really cool web applications, as well. We're proud to say we work with these teams in building front-end code that doesn't suck. They love us because we don't mind diving right into Ruby on Rails and PHP environments to implement every line of code efficiently.

Nimbus
We've worked side-by-side with the developers at ShootQ to develop a new web application for photographers that allows them to create a slick-looking HTML5-based portfolio with all the fixins from ShootQ.
What we did
We consulted with the ShootQ team and to date have built 5 themes for the platform, and designed both Nimbus and Atrium, including their branding.
How we did it
We strived to build 5 themes that challenged the developers at ShootQ to think about portfolios is a new way, and created fully customizable themes.

Positive Gear
When James isn't getting his unread count down to 0, he inspires youth of all ages to reach new heights and motivates them towards positive decision making. The site serves as a portal for people to get in touch and find out more information about him and his team.
What we did
We analyzed the content and brand that Positive Gear wanted to come across with, and designed a single-page site that had everything they needed on it to get people interested and in touch.
How we did it
We first had to understand the regular use case of the site, and wireframed around it. What we ended up with was a beautiful design built on semantic HTML5/CSS3 that took it to the next level.

3Degrees
When Brian first came to us with his idea for a site that would leverage Facebook to allow users to search through friends and recommend them to each other, we were floored!
What we did
Brian came to us with a great idea, but needed some help getting it hammered down and focused. We ended up designing the brand and content strategy, as well as the entire app and it's front-facing partner.
How we did it
We took the idea and after creating personas and wireframes, dove into pixel by pixel of great design. We also got to work with our friends at Highgroove again and make sure all code was sync'd up and working!
-
DiscoveryPort
The DiscoveryPort is a cutting-edge application that allows litigation firms to provide it's clients access to documents they collect for them throughout the legal process. Simple at first-glace, the application has a myriad of essential features that help litigation teams do their job efficiently.
What we did
We took the idea from a functional specification document all the way through wireframing, brand design, web design and front end development. We then worked alongside the Highgroove team to implement all our stlish styles!
How we did it
We knew this would be an application users would be using daily, so we made sure nothing went overlooked in the wireframing process. Every page went through the wireframing process and we made sure the flow of the user was effective and easy-to-understand.

Demandbase (Realtime Webpage)
We were excited when the Demandbase team came back to us wanting some help with their Realtime Webpage. Now, we'd already worked on their internal web application design, but this page was one that allowed their clients to see the value of their service. We think we did a pretty bang-on job!
What we did
We analyzed all the data that needed to be put together into this one page and had to figure out the best way to do it that was easy to understand at first glance. We did everything from the design to the front end code, and even played with a few wireframes.
How we did it
We made sure to wireframe and sketch out how all of the data would look on the page. We then needed to figure out appropriate icons (and colours!) that got the point across to users in the easiest way possible.

After8 - TCDSB
After8 is a transitional program in the Toronto Catholic District School Board that assists students in grades 6-8 with their transition into high school.
What we did
From branding to a new website and brochure, we took After8 from an idea on paper to an important resource used by thousands of students within the board every year.
How we did it
Again, we proved the might of the Wordpress platform to allow for community-driven actions, and worked with illustrator Nicholas Jackson to bring splashes of fun to the brochure!

STAR (FivePoint)
STAR is a tool that is used by FivePoint that empowers their consultants to pursue the software procurement process. The tool allows them to create a repository of customized requirements that can be scored based on solution provider responses to the requirements, which are then used to offer in-depth analysis to make a final recommendation of the software that best fits their clients' needs.
What we did
Having already had the entire project scoped out and most of the screens sketched, we put a face to the application that made it easy to navigate through the intensive process.
How we did it
We got right in the Pivotal Tracker process with the development team to allow for a constant flow of communication of what pages and functions needed to be styled.

The Trek for Teens Foundation
The Trek for Teens Foundation was our pro bono project of 2010 and 2011. They raise funds and awareness for charities that help homeless youth in Toronto, Canada. It's their goal to open eyes to the epidemic that teen homelessness has become, and to make it easier for homeless youth to get out of bad environments.
What we did
From branding to web and print design, we gave the foundation a presence it truly deserves. We even helped them establish a better social media presence and event registration process that got its participants and volunteers the information they need.
How we did it
We worked with the directors to find out the strengths and weaknesses of past marketing campaigns and figured out solutions that were a better fit for a team that didn't have much budget to put towards marketing.
-
DemandBase (RTID Admin)
The DemandBase team provides companies with cutting-edge creative marketing solutions using amazing real-time technology. Their Real-Time Identification (RTID, for short) administrative section is where their team maintains the databases that fuel their solutions.
What we did
Starting with a content survey of the functions that had been built out by the Highgroove team, we developed Garrett IA outlines and wireframes to map out user experiences stories. We then designed a visually-pleasing design that emulated desktop application-like interactions using cutting-edge technologies.
How we did it
With the knowledge that the majority of users accessing this backend interface were tech-savvy individuals using newer browsers, we were able to utilize HTML5 and CSS3 to build out an incredibly flexible interface.

My Roots
My Roots is a local newspaper for Malvern, Ontario that provides a creative outlet for youth to express themselves. They feature everything from art to local events in their wide-spread publication in hopes to foster a positive image of the Malvern community.
While their primary focus was their seasonal newspaper, the My Roots team noticed more youth accessing the Internet to find information, and decided a web presence was necessary in getting their message across.
What we did
We developed a Wordpress solution that made it easy for the My Roots team to maintain with recent publications, news, and information.
How we did it
We got to work with the amazing illustrator Nicholas Jackson to create a design that was simple with a great visual touch near the bottom that embraced the project's urban cityscape.

CRM State (AtCore Systems)
Having just finished AtCore System's portfolio, we were asked to put together the design for their web application, CRM State. We were more than excited to work with Josh Sweeney and the AtCore team again, and we "exceeded expectations" once again!
What we did
We put together the informational site for CRM State that introduced it to the market. We kept it simple, and we think it shows in an incredibly easy-to-navigate site (not to mention incredibly fun with the sweet illustrations scattered throughout).
How we did it
We were asked to develop the front-end with the Blueprint CSS framework, which proved to be incredibly simple to use (especially since we had already designed in 960gs!).

177177 - Michael "Mikey Mic" Masci
We had the pleasure of working with Mikey on his personal brand and online presence. Given Mikey's marketing background, we were challenged to look at our designs differently and given a problemset that we hadn't encountered before.
What we did
From redeveloping his logo identity, to creating a website and business cards, we merged our fresh, clean style with a more rugged look that fit with Mikey's brand. We developed with flexibility in mind because of the site's content.
-
reOneSpot
reOneSpot is a web application for real estate professionals that allows agents, brokers, and clients to come together in one place and access a myriad of collaborative tools.
What we did
While initially assisting with maintenance of the web application itself, we were asked to create a new vanity page for the application that showcased it's new brand to potential clients.
How we did it
We worked with the lovely folks at HighGroove to implement changes to the web application, and built their new site in HTML/CSS, and some very fancy javascript transitions.

SeeBQ
Charles Brian Quinn is one of the busiest people we know, hands down. Through being a founder of one company, a partner in another, and being on boards of directors, we'd imagine his personal elevator pitch is quite long. That's why we helped him to redesign his personal hub, SeeBQ, where his shameless self-promotion is let loose!
What we did
Charles' biggest problem with his old site was that it was bland and he didn't have time to update it anymore. We brought it up to speed with current trends (and an updated photo or two).
How we did it
We kept the design as minimal as possible with as many options as possible. We focused on typography, and created something visually stunning with the help of Typekit.
Think we're the bee's knees?
